ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF A COACH
|

| |
- All Coaches should have:
- Relevant Cheerleading qualifications (i.e. Level 1, 2, 3, 4
or 5)
- Performed a risk assessment of the training/performance venue
- Collected health & safety information on participants
- Adequate insurance
- An up to date CRB check
- An up to date First Aid qualification
- PPL licensing for music

The Coach is ultimately
responsible for all Cheerleaders in their care. |
|
| |
Coaches may also wish to enhance and develop
their knowledge and skills throughout their career. UKCA are working
with Sports Coach UK in line with UKCC (UK Coaching Certificate)
guidelines to develop standardised high quality coaches.
